The town of Hamelin is infested with rats. The people are at their wits' end. Then a strange man arrives at the town gates...
The Pied Piper promises to help rid the town of the rats. But will they keep their promise to pay him?
This classic version of the traditional tale is beautifully brought to life by Maren Briswalter's gentle, charming illustrations.
Recommended by the publisher for 4-6 years old, but here at Nest, we might suggest for 5-7 years old. As well, while the illustrations are gentle and charming, the narrative of the Piped Piper for those who know it can be startling for quite sensitive children.
Hardcover, 32 pages with colour illustrations. 294 x 219 mm.
